Lassen County desires a complete upgrade to the closed circuit camera systems in the Lassen County Jail and Juvenile Hall. The system upgrade will include the removal and replacement of all existing cameras and cabling in the jail, the juvenile hall, and create a link between the two facilities. The project will also include the ability for either facility to view the other (Jail / Juvenile Hall / Jail), plus give the county the ability to view the cameras from a separate location linked by an independent network (VPN).  Lassen County anticipates contracting with a vendor with corrections camera systems already in place in other detention facilities or county jails in California or other states.
