The Lassen County Housing and Institutions program is responsible for insuring housing is maintained in a healthy and sanitary manner and that detention facilities, day camps and organized camps are maintained and operated in a safe and sanitary manner. We carry out this responsibility by responding to complaints and by conducting annual inspections of detention facilities, day camps and organized camps. The quality of our housing is a significant determinant of health, affecting the physical, social and mental well-being of each resident.
